Renters will be asked to sign and return an agreement as below in order to confirm reservation.
The COMPANY accords to the CLIENT a short-term residence or 'holiday home', in accordance with the conditions stated below, which the CLIENT must adhere to. The above-mentioned residence is to be used only for personal use, and under no means is to be used for any professional purposes, or as a business unit or office. The CLIENT understands and accepts that the accommodation and services are only provided in the framework of a business or pleasure trip to Paris and that this is the principle underlying condition to the validation of this contract.
The agreed upon rental fee includes linens, standard kitchen utensils, electricity, local telephone service, cleaning, and all taxes.
The CLIENT agrees to commit no act that could disturb the tranquility of the other residents of the building where the rental occurs. Any disorderly or unruly behavior is the sole responsibility of the CLIENT and the COMPANY relinquishes complete and absolute responsibility if a third party is involved. The CLIENT must comply with the building regulations.
Animals are not allowed in the apartment except through prior arrangement.
During the rental of the apartment, the COMPANY reserves the right to carry our urgent work in the apartment, without affecting the negotiated price. The CLIENT agrees to allow the COMPANY access into the apartment with prior notice of at least one day (except in cases of emergency), in order to accomplish these tasks.
The CLIENT understands that the COMPANY undertakes no responsibility for the CLIENT'S personal belongings and that in case of loss, damage, or theft to CLIENT'S personal property the CLIENT shall not attempt to recover damages from the COMPANY.
The CLIENT is responsible for any defacement to the apartment during his/her stay. The CLIENT shall exercise reasonable caution to prevent the occurrence of theft including locking all doors and windows during the times that he/she is not inside the apartment. In case of theft the CLIENT agrees to be responsible (either personally or through CLIENT'S insurer) for items and furnishing belonging to the COMPANY that are not included in the COMPANY'S insurance policy.
The CLIENT must inform THE COMPANY in advance the day and time of their arrival. The length of stay of this contract, can only de extended with the written agreement by the COMPANY and for no longer than a period of three months.
For a departure before the negotiated date the tariff remains the same as already agreed between the COMPANY and the CLIENT.
The CLIENT agrees to a deposit of up to 25% of the total rental amount. The deposit is charged on his credit card upon reservation and will not be reimbursed in case of cancellation. The payment of the balance depends on the property and will be indicated on the reservation confirmation. Oustanding balance is usually paid 1 month before arrival or at the latest upon check in.
In case of cancellation up to 15 days before arrival, the client agrees on cancelation penalty representing 50% of the rental fee.
In case of late cancellation or no show, the client accepts a cancellation penalty of 100% of the rental fee that will be reimbursed if the COMPANY succeeds the apartment in renting for the same dates.
As part of the check in process, the CLIENT agrees to a security deposit with signed acceptance of credit card charge limited to € 2.000 in case of damage. This amount guarantees the COMPANY payment for any damage made by the CLIENT to any appliances, furniture, kitchen utensils, linens, towels, etc. The security deposit covers any damage to the apartment and includes any lost or missing keys to the apartment. In the case of missing keys, the COMPANY will change the apartment door lock and the CLIENT will be charged for € 700.
The CLIENT also agrees to leave the property in the same state as when the CLIENT entered the property. If damage exceed € 2000, the CLIENT agrees to pay in full for the excess cost.
As part of the check in process, CLIENT agrees to sign the State of the Apartment document as well as the list of all rules applying to rentals. Upon arrival at the apartment, should the CLIENT note any damage or missing items, he must inform the COMPANY or it will be agreed that the apartment is in the state as agreed to in the State of the Apartment document. The security deposit can be charged on CLIENT’ credit card once the State of the Apartment has been verified either upon, CLIENT’s check-out or within 48 hours of the clients' departure.
The CLIENT hereby releases THE COMPANY AND OWNERS from any and all claims for liability for damages to personal property or personal injury occurring to THE CLIENT or to third parties invited by THE CLIENT during their rental.
THE COMPANY HAS THE RIGHT TO EVICT, WITHOUT ANY PRIOR WARNING, ALL CLIENTS WHO DO NOT ADHERE TO THE ABOVE STATED REGULATIONS IN THIS CONTRACT.
